weisyschwarz: Draws against Anand and Kramnik. I think this is a man to watch. Kramnik could not do much to attack him, and initated most of the exchanges.

cotdt: It was Kramnik who played for the draw with the series of exchanges he initiated. So will Bu be playing Kamsky tomorrow?

iron maiden: No, tomorrow's a rest day. Bu against Kamsky seems like the probable first-board matchup for Saturday.

Whitehat1963: I'm sure I'm wrong, but it looks to me like white has a chance for a win in the final position
May-28-06  4daluvofchess: No... Black just goes a4 and that's the end of it- 0.00

  Whitehat1963: Yup, you're right. That's why I suck.

euripides: <CR> this certainly looks difficult for Black. All active moves look dangerous. Perhaps he can bunker down with <34.Nd7+ Kc8 35.Nf6 > Rf8 hoping to meet e5 with Nf5 entangling the rook.

acirce: <34.Nd7+ Kc8 35.Nf6> I don't think there's much to worry about after Rybka's 35..a5, and if 36.e4 just Nb5 followed by Nd4(+) and Nxb3. It seems to be important in a couple of lines that the a-pawn is one step closer to promotion. Alternatively 36.Kf3 Rh8 and Black gets counterplay.
