May-27-06  MarvinTsai: Compared to the human games, this is quite a weird one!
May-28-06  Drifter: juniors style reminds me of Kramnik.

jahhaj: 29...Bxf2 is one hell of a sacrifice. Worthy of a Sunday puzzle.

Would a human player be able to calculate such a move?

Jun-11-06  psmith: <jahhaj> There is a question whether this was played with full "comprehension" of its consequences. Fritz 5.32 finds it pretty quickly (less than a minute) to be the best move, although evaluating it as only a slight advantage for Black. It might then have been played with the computer evaluating it in that way (rather than as winning).
Jun-11-06  psmith: Also, one has to demonstrate a win against 31. Ke1.

Anyone?

Jun-11-06  psmith: Alright, thanks to Fritz 5.32, I answer my own question:

31. Ke1 R8d5 32. Qe4 R3d4 33. Qe3 Qb4+ 34. Kf2 Rd3 35. Qe4 Qc5+ 36. Ke1 Qc3+ is convincing.

Jun-22-06  harcee sarmiento: is this computer really resigning or those people behind them do the agreement?? sencya na wala sa bundok nyan eh!!
