Jun-01-06  hellopolgar: surprised there is no comment. how can a 2600+ player like Baadur Jobava get TOTALLY DEMOLISHED. Mr. Bu's actual rating is definitely 2700+.
Jun-01-06  s4life: Bu's rating will only go up methinks... he's such a solid player for a 19 y.o.
Jun-02-06  notyetagm: Wow, 2006 Aeroflot champion Jobava gets blown off the board in this game.
Jun-18-06  notyetagm: 25 ... d4! is an excellent sacrifice to open the d-file.

After 26 ♕xd4 ♖d8!, the White queen is <SKEWERED> against the d2-square, which will make a lovely home on the 7th rank for the Black d8-rook, especially with White's terribly exposed king sitting on h2.

Jul-26-07  wouldpusher: The cool move was 27. ... f6! in order to prevent the back rank mate and at the same time attacks the queen, gaining a tempo.

36. ♕h1 is futile, as 36. ... ♕xe3+ 37. ♔f1 ♕f2#.

Apr-10-11  computer chess guy: after 26. exd4 ♘xf4 27. ♕g3, Black is better but not clearly winning.
