Sneaky: My devil is nothing sinister... it's just a devilled ham trademark!
Jun-04-06  CAPA2422: Look its just a picture of an Atomic Bomb going off.

It doesn't mean its the same one.

Can I have a picture of a gun?
More poeple have died by guns that the atomic bomb.
I guess I would affend the whole world if I had a picture of a gun.
Is that what you are saying?

Jun-04-06  Mateo: <CAPA2422: Sons and Victims of Pearl Harbor would.> So you think death and diseases caused by an atomic clash are something funny or beautiful for the victims?
Jun-04-06  CAPA2422: LOL. I like your devil sneaky.
Jun-04-06  CAPA2422: Mateo you are jealous because you dont have a picture.

Can I have picture of a gun?

Jun-04-06  Mateo: CAPA2422: Look its just a picture of an Atomic Bomb going off. It doesn't mean its the same one. Can I have a picture of a gun? More poeple have died by guns that the atomic bomb.
I guess I would affend the whole world if I had a picture of a gun. Is that what you are saying?> I do not think you can compare a gun with an atomic bomb. There is a difference of scale.
Jun-04-06  CAPA2422: Yeah. guns have killed way more!!!!!

shhhhhh you lose the argument.

Jun-04-06  cotdt: Hey <Mateo> I'm truly and deeply offended by your nickname. Are you trying to make fun of my dead brother? I hate yoU!
Jun-04-06  amateur05: Mateo, Capa's atomic bomb looks very beautiful. Imagine it's a test explosion somewhere in the pacific without any victims.
Jun-04-06  madlydeeply: Jeez Mateo chill out, do you think the world becomes less complex because you percieve one small part of the endless tragedy of human conflict? Maybe his grandparents died in the rape on Nanking or the Bataan death march! are you drinking and blogging or something?
Jun-04-06  CAPA2422: <cotdt> LOL and I am still offended by sneakys devil! LOL

Jun-04-06  CAPA2422: I agree with MadlyDeeply.

---smart guy----

Jun-04-06  CAPA2422: <Messachess> How about a gun?

Open Defence: <.....educated, lintelligent, sensative people. I take it that most chess player are such> you must be new here hehehehehe
Jun-04-06  CAPA2422: More people have been affected by guns than one bomb.
Jun-04-06  cotdt: <chessgames.com>'s depiction of a mutilated horse head deeply offends me. why can't we just leave all the poor horsies alone!? =/
Jun-04-06  CAPA2422: <messachess> killed his message. Well good idea.
Jun-04-06  CAPA2422: LOL Cotdt

Open Defence: I bet Dell Employees find my avtaar offensive
Jun-04-06  cotdt: hey so what happened to good ol' Mateo? He doesn't seem to be talking anymore... =/
Jun-04-06  whiskeyrebel: Open defence, not to mention all the innocent apples tired of being bitten, eaten and exploited...

Jun-05-06  JustAFish: A quick google search reveals CAPA2422's avatar to be an image of test "Castle: Romeo" which was an 11 megaton blast conducted at the Bikini atoll.

One can see a small movie of the test here:

While nuclear weapons are certainly horrific, images of mushroom clouds are common enough in society to have become symbolic of power in the same way as lions and bulls and Native Americans.

One does not necessarily endorse nuclear war when using such an image.

Jun-05-06  BobbyBishop: So uh how about that Kamsky-Carlsen game!?
Jun-05-06  JustAFish: I think it's fantastic how well both comeback kid Kamsky and just plain 'ol kid Carlsen are doing. Carlsen is such a meteoric figure right now, that I wouldn't be suprized to seem him as a contender for the WCC in, oh, five years or so.

As such, I would have liked this game to have gone on for a little while longer.
