Kibitzer's Corner
Dec-02-11  Whitehat1963: Complex little gem that has received no commentary whatsoever (until now).

  FSR: 67.Kg3 wasn't exactly a "gem" of a move.
Dec-02-11  King Death: White seemed to do a bit of shuffling with his queen in this middlegame, but I'm not sure how much of an attack he has without that light squared bishop. Benko played some deft defensive moves. He knew how to handle the Sicilian for Black.

Even if White was in time trouble with 6 moves to make, 67.Kg3 was a move he shouldn't have made in a five minute game.

Dec-03-11  AnalyzeThis: I lost interest in this game as soon as white allowed Nxb3.

FSR: <King Death> White was up a queen and two pawns for rook and knight. I would be very surprised if he didn't miss a win somewhere.
Dec-03-11  King Death: <FSR> That's true later on. It seemed like Benko played well to hold off the attack but got lost in the complications near the first time control. (Maybe his usual time trouble?)

In the third time control, White has a material advantage but I think he should have played 63.Qf3+ Ke6 64.Qc6+ Kf5 65. Bd6 instead of 63.Bd4. Black needs to get his rooks working together and this makes that harder.
