Kibitzer's Corner
Apr-19-09   DWINS: What a phenomenal game! This total unknown kicks Panov's butt. If you like tactics, then this is the game for you. Here's just a sample.

Black would like to get in Nf4 but just can't do it. If 18...Nf4 19.Rg3 Qd8 20.Qh6 Re8 21.Rxg6+ fxg6

or 21...hxg6 22.Rh1 Nh5 23.Rxh5 gxh5
24.f6 Qxf6+ 25.Nxf6#

or 21...Nxg6 22.f6 Qxf6+
23.Nxf6+ Kh8 24.Qxh7#

22.Nf6+ Kh8 23.Qxh7#

OK, maybe he can get away with it on the next move. Nope!

If 19...Nf4 20.Ne7+ Kg7 21.Rxh7+ Kf6 22.Qh4+ g5 23.Ng8+ Rxg8 24.Rxf7#
