  Ulhumbrus: Instead of 33...g5, 33...R7c7 prepares to open lines for the Rs by ...b5. With a N against a powerful Black KB, Karpov will have to struggle to draw this ending.

  percyblakeney: There seems to be no point in giving away a pawn with 47. ... Rd3 instead of the quickly drawing Rb5, so it was probably a time trouble mistake by Leko.
