Karpova: 16.Bxf4 Rd4 and white loses either the Na4 or the Bf4

TheaN: Is the endgame as losing as it looks in the continuation? I'm talking from move, lets say, 55 on. White plays 55.e6? Why not just take the h3 pawn? With white's f-pawn(s) still on the board, I guess the bishops cannot ditch the knight and win (as d2 forces the black bishop to be sacced). Or can they? I don't know that for sure. At least 55.Bxh3 is drawish as the d-pawn just cannot be forced to promote. Can anyone else give a thought to it?

Yes, 55.Nxh3 leads to a draw.
White was probably in terrible time trouble and just made moves not to lose on time
