Dec-13-06  bitstream5: draw, without a single exchange? they must know something i dont. well, actually they certainly know a lot that I dont but I still havent an idea as to why this game ended so prematurely.
Dec-13-06  setebos: The strong draw their games and prey on the weaker (or rather those they perceive as weaker)
Dec-18-06  Tariqov: Probably both were scared to take risk, as after(i think..)the opening white's only chance is in the Kingside(Queenside and center is kind of closed) but if he does not succeed at the kingside he might end up with weaknesses after breaking (f4,etc) and instead lose. But i suppose it is worth the try, since there is no risk in preparing first while calculating the outcome of any kingside break.
