Kibitzer's Corner
Jan-14-07  dehanne: What a very amusing quietus : Qc1!
Jan-14-07  syracrophy: What a beautiful move 39...Qc1!!. now if 40.Rxc1 Rxc1#.

now the threats are 40...Qxb2+!! 41.Rxb2 Rc1+ 42.Rb1 Rxb1#

And the second threat is 40...Qxb1+!! 41.Kxb1 Rc4+ 42.Ka1 Rc1#

The only good way to stop these threats is 40.Qg1 Qxg1 41.Rxg1 Rxh2 with an easily won ending, since now the white R can't abandon the first rank because of ...Rh1+ mating
