surprising that Horowitz didn't expect Reshevsky's knockout move 15.Rc8+ but instead he decided for 14...f6 instead of automatic move 14...Ke7

May-16-10  James Demery: Israel Albert Horowitz. No doubt Bobby Fischer`s favorite player.

profK: Despite the 14..f6 white has a great pull in development. Even 14...Ke7 15.Rc7 Rc8 16.bRc1 black has some problems.
Jul-05-11  detritus: Wouldn't 12 ... O-O be better than b6?

perfidious: This speedy end gave these players something of a rest day, at least, and a much-needed one, inasmuch as the fifteen rounds were played in thirteen days.

While I agree with <FSR> that 12....0-0 is stronger than 12....b6, the whole line looks unimpressive for Black.

Feb-11-13  RookFile: Horowitz had probably just finished getting his cup of coffee ready, when suddenly the game is over.
