 | | grolich: Nd2 would probably have been a mistake the move before...
after Bd6 black's game would be great (with perhaps a small edge...perhaps).
Ne1 was good though |

 | | Jack Kerouac: <Wild Bill>: Dean Moriarty is Neal Cassady, Heart of the Beats; Bus driver for Ken Kesey's Merry Pranksters; author of 'The First Third' and my greatest inspiration until he died on those railroad tracks down Mexico way in 1967 (sob).... |

 | | mckmck: Engines recommend this line Rc1-Bd6, c4-Bxc4 , Rxc4 - Rxe1+, Kh2 - Bxg3 etc., |

 | | Eyal: 25.Nc2, aiming for e3, looks reasonable. |

 | | grolich: Different engines give totally different results, so with such small advantages ,I wouldn't even count on engines... just perhaps use them to find critical errors. (I've heard on this position already 5 different opinions of engine assessment...different engines values +0.14 - +0.35.
Meaning: Nothing...

| Mar-03-07 | | hitman84: Black should try and get rid of the doubled pawns by playing c5. |

 | | BadKnight: Is there any other site where I can see other live games? |

Mar-03-07
 | | Jack Kerouac: <An Englishman>; Well you won't get any! |

Mar-03-07
 | | chessgames.com: <BadKnight: Is there any other site where I can see other live games?> You can try the link "official site" to the right of the board above, but not everybody has success with that link. The main server is a little stressed under the load it's receiving. |

 | | Domdaniel: <Is there any other site where I can see other live games?> You are indeed a <Bad Knight> to think about such things. Sir. |

Mar-03-07
 | | An Englishman: Offhand, Black's Bb5 looks like the key to the entire position, so I'm considering a plan of Ne1-c2-e3 and c3-c4. A bit long-winded, though. |

 | | grolich: I like Nc2. White needs it in the game |

 | | Wild Bill: <Jack Kerouac: <Number 2 to number 6....'Why did you resign?'..... >> Becaus I was two pawns down and my opponent had majorities on both wings. |

 | | mckmck: <Ne1-c2-e3 and c3-c4.> Black plays the freeing move c5 and game will be equal. Nc2 - c5 , Ne3 - cxd4 ,cxd4 |

 | | Jack Kerouac: Intriging banter, but I must return to The Village for now.
Be seeing you......... |

Mar-03-07
 | | Eyal: <Nc2 - c5 , Ne3> Of course White should play d5 before Ne3, in such a case. |

 | | BadKnight: Few days back I saw another member giving link to another site, where I could see other live games. It was not the official site. Unfortunately, I do not remember the site name. :(
I actually never succeeded in watching live games from the official site. |

Mar-03-07
 | | grolich: yeah but after Nc2 c5 d5! is, as was said, almost automatic...
white still holds something.
Even if I don't believe it's enough to break Anand (or any GM, for that matter) |
