Apr-22-09  aazqua: Impressive vision by black. Although correcting his pawn structure back around move 23 was nice in theory, it clearly wasn't going to do much good if the knight made it to d3 and turned the black bishop into a pumpkin. So throw in a pawn and an exchange for a great dynamic attack. I think white just had to suck it up and play something like 28 Rd1, trade Q+P for R+B and hope for the best. Given that all his pawns were on white he'd probably have to throw another away as well to get activity for his bishop but even at that point he'd be fine on material and ideally the rooks + bishop would be a match for the queen and knight particularly given pawns on both sides.
