  fredthebear: In the final position, Black is sacrificing the knight for a gain of time. The White king will continue forth and remove the cornered knight and then must get out of the way of the a-pawn as the Black h-pawn marches on. The a-pawn will promote in four moves, and then Black will exchange off the new queens, leaving Black with two extra pawns and an easy victory.
