Kibitzer's Corner
Apr-24-07  luzhin: White's 18th move is nice: his rooks are forked, so he puts his remaining minor pieces en prise as well. The point is, as Tal observed in a similar position, that the opponent can capture only one piece at a time.
Apr-24-07  euripides: <luzhin> Yes and the whole game is a magnificent tactical fight.
Jul-01-07  Chessmensch: This game is the subject of McClain's NY Times chess colulm on July 1, 2007. http://www.nytimes.com/2007/07/01/c...
Mar-21-12  wordfunph: "One of the more severe unforeseen blows I have suffered at the chessboard; its impact on me was so great that I played the rest of the game like a beginner.

For several days afterwards I was trying to understand the reasons I overlooked this knight move, but honestly, I could find none."

- GM Vasilios Kotronias (on 18.Nd5!!)
