  An Englishman: Good Evening: Our Player of the Day does not seem to have done well against GMs in general, but somehow went 2.5 - 0.5 vs. a man who was top ten in the world for years.

This game is interesting, because Plater somehow survives a quick and nasty attack (I think Boleslavsky missed something), and then demonstrates that a powerful pawn center can be a factor even in the endgame.
