Aug-11-07		russep: Did black miss 46...Rxd6 it looks like he would have a rook and be able to stop the d pawn?

Aug-11-07		Ron: Looks like you are right <russep>. And it is frustrating when one looses chess bucks because of missed moves like this.

Aug-11-07		sharkw: After 46...Rxd6 White has the zwischenzug 47. Rg4+ and will be up at least two pawns in the rook endgame.

Aug-12-07		Ron: <sharkw> So it does seem that Timman did not err there: if 46. .. Rxd6 then 47 Rg4+ Kh7 48. exd6
