Domdaniel: The piece offer 19.Nd5! is known to be good from previous games, such as Ruck vs Markus, Calvia 2004, where it was declined with 19...Qd8 but White went on to win after 20.Nxe7.

Here, Black takes the piece, but decides to return it with 20...Nc5. White predictably gets a lot of pressure against the exposed King -- and, just when it seems that his Queen is being driven back -- produces a beautiful Queen sac.

In the ending, White has Rook and Bishop vs Queen, and Black has no chance. His rook and bishop are stuck on their original squares, while his King and Queen get driven around and tied in knots. Stirring stuff.

If you're going to play 20 moves of cutting-edge opening theory, it's nice to continue the game with a demonstration of truly original chess.
