SwitchingQuylthulg: While I believe it's customary to celebrate one's 1000th kibitz on the Beer page, I opted for a non-alcoholic alternative, namely this interesting, complicated and theoretically important game between two strong Hungarian masters. With 1.Nf3, White went for what he found a safe way to play for an advantage. However, Black appropriately countered with 1...b6!, putting an end to White's winning hopes. For the rest of the game, White defended accurately and held a draw.

Save for one minor inaccuracy - 10.a3?! instead of the more principled 10.d4 - this game can be said to represent perfect play by both sides and is one that all chess players should know.
