Sep-24-07  timhortons: id seen these game as labeled sicilian fischer sozin yesterday and now it was change to najdorf...can anybody tell me the difference in pieces set up between the two opening?i thought that 5th bc4 is the one that make it fischer sozin....

  Dr. Funkenstein: I've never quite figured that out either. The sozin attack usually refers to when white plays Bc4 against the classical sicillian (with an early Nc6) and it's usually labelled the Bc4 Najdorf when Black goes ahead with a6 and Nbd7, but you're right TH, it seems like the two get mixed up often
