Kibitzer's Corner
Aug-09-08  jerseybob: A brilliant game by Kedyk and a great advertisement for the KID. White seems blissfully unaware of the storm brewing, pursuing a queenside pie in the sky. Black's 15..Nf6 allowing the pawn snatch 16.Nxa7 may or may not be sound - OTB it's a pretty good bet - but white should instantly get the knight out of there with 17.Nb5 to try and organize a kingside defense. If 17..Bxb5 18.cxb5, black has one less attacking piece. As the game goes, white becomes in effect two pieces down with the N and B way offside, leaving their king to suffer a grisly fate.

RookFile: White may have lost the game, but your comments concerning the opening are simply wrong. Korchnoi patented this way of playing, and had success with it.

Aug-10-08  jerseybob: Tell me more, and cite a game or two. I'm interested.
