A tremendous example of <WEAK SQUARES>.

White's queenside pawns all reside on <DARK SQUARES>, as does his bishop. As such, he is unable to prevent the Black king from penetrating decisively on the <LIGHT SQUARES>. That is, White loses this game because he cannot <DEFEND> his weak queenside <LIGHT SQUARES>.
