Jan-07-08  Riverbeast: A strange game...I wonder why Korchnoi wasted time with 22. Bxg4....wouldn't the simple 22. O-O-O be better?

IMlday: Black is probably going to play 22.0-0-0 Bxe2 and aim for b6-b5 when the N may be more useful at e5 than g4. Korchnoy looks much better anyway until 34.Nf3?! which lets Black centralize his Q by ..Qf7-e6-e4 etc. Instead 34.hxg6 hxg6 35.Bf2 and if ..Rg4 36.Qh2 leaves the Ns nicely centralized.
