KingG: I had a similar position to the one after 15.Nc5 in a rapid game, except that rooks were exchanged first, after 14...Rxd8 15.Rxd8+ Bxd8 16.Nc5.

I considered 16...Bc8 as in this game, but instead decided to go for 15...Bg5. My opponent then immediately blundered with 16.Nxe6??, and had to resign after 16...e3+.

I'm always amazed how common g4 before 0-0-0 is in this variation(especially in blitz), either at move 9 or 10. In both cases, Black is better after ...d5!. Obviously some people aren't taking account of the specifics of the position, and just assume they can play the same way as they do in the quick ...Nbd7 lines. The difference is in those lines Black has blocked his Queen's influence on the d-file, and so can't play a quick ...d5.
