Kibitzer's Corner
Jul-06-12  YoungEd: I guess 10...d5 is the big error; once White gets in e5 it looks like he's going to win at least a P. Maybe 10...d6 holds out better, though I still don't like Black's game much.
Jul-06-12  LoveThatJoker: <YoungEd> Stockfish confirms the correctness of your statement that 10...d5 was Black's major mistake in this game - it states that after 12. Bxe7 Qxe7 13. cxd5 White has a (+2.38, Depth = 17) advantage.

Stockfish also notes that GM Donner's 12. Bg3 was not best giving only an = to evaluation of it after 12...Nb6.

In conclusion, GM Donner was lucky that Tsiknopoulos played the totally erroneous 12...Qc7? and thus won the game quickly!

Thanks for brining this game to attention today!
