Jun-28-09  Ed Trice: So <PinnedPiece> is none other than Rafal Furdzik, imagine my surprise.

http://www.gothicchess.com/BigCheck...

The winner of the $5000 Online Gothic Chess tournament from 1999.

PinnedPiece: <Imagine my surprise> Mine too.

Is this another person you need to exorcise from your past?

Jun-28-09  Jim Bartle: Wow, PP, what did you do, roll up the check, then unfurl it at the teller's window?

PinnedPiece: <Jim Bartle: Wow, PP, what did you do, roll up the check, then unfurl it at the teller's window?>

I'm thinking devious old Ed here is sowing some kind of seeds to the effect "I said I was going to get your ID, and I DID! ALL OTHERS WHO CROSS ME BEWARE!"

Rest assured I've never so much as heard of Rafal Furdzik. I have half a mind to now engage in a "proof of scam" sortie on this 1999 online tournament, since Ed seems to want to use it as some kind of proof, with me as a pawn. If he was known to have a sense of humor, my initial reaction would be to laugh, but this guy....

He hasn't got a screw loose. He has a whole circuit board missing.

.

Jun-28-09  Jim Bartle: On a side note, a person like Ed Trice might not want to be calling attention to photos of himself from ten years ago, when we've seen recent photos of him. Not flattering.

Of course I'm one to talk. I'm nowhere close to my weight from 1999 either.

chancho: <Jim> tu amigo Ed tiene una mala, mala memoria:

<Ed Trice: <PinnedPiece> As you have often quoted, that is a "non-denial denial.">

Ese eras tu cuando dijiste eso. ;p

Jun-28-09  Ed Trice: I notice you don't deny it.

Yet, on the JessicaFischerQueen page today, she had a link "courtesy of PinnedPiece" which pointed to an article you wrote on GrandmasterCorner.com which is owned by Rafal Furdzik.

Don't worry, I took a screen shot of it, before you asked her to remove the link.

So, do you also deny that was posted on her forum?

Do you deny having written that on GrandmasterCorner.com?

Jun-28-09  Jim Bartle: Si, piggy, y estoy bien mortificado, y creo que quede daƱado mi reputacion.. Voy a llamar a mi abogado. Cuanto puedo comprar con $21 millones?

See your page. Nor me nor any of the visitors to the <JFQ> page have any idea what you are referring to now. You have to see a doctor quick to stop the cerebral hemmorhaging that must be occurring.

And as <chancho> says, even your accusation about who says what on these pages is wrong.

.

Jun-28-09  Ed Trice: So <PinnedPiece> you are saying there was never any link anywhere on this site acknowledging you as the author to an article written on GrandmasterCorner.com?

Would that be correct?

Jun-28-09  Ed Trice: The link that was on JFQ's page today was this:

http://www.grandmastercorner.com/GC...

And it was attributed to PinnedPiece.

Do you deny this was on here today?

chancho: That link is still on JFQ's page, dude.

PinnedPiece: <Ed Trice > you've made a ghastly mistake. Are you trying to somehow show that youcouldn't possibly be clever enough to write M61MG all by yourself? You didn't have to prove that to me. <JFQ>'s attribution was a thankyou for pointing out the story. It had nothing to do with who wrote it.

Ask her yourself, if you are still on talking terms.

Anyway, so what the bleeding hades if I was this poor person? Were you going to demand your $5000 back?

.

Jun-29-09  Ed Trice: Well, Rafal was made aware that it was my personal money, since the other partners voted not to fund the online tournament that year, and I went ahead with it anyway.

So how did you know it was my money? The Gothic Chess Association, back then, was a 6-person company.

chancho: This stuff is beyond ridiculous now.
Is this game ever going to get discussed? Mind you, I'm guilty of doing the same nonsense, but it's getting repetitive and boring. I mean, 6 pages of off topic crap...

PinnedPiece: <So how did you know it was my money? >

Half the readers of this thread would have made the same guess. They must all be Rafal Furdzik. I would think that even stronger proof of me being Rafal Furdzik in your mind was that I have yet to misspell his name!

As long as I'm on a roll in this guessing game, let me also guess the take from entry fees for this tournament--if indeed it ever existed--was a cool $850, which is why you partners dropped out. Maybe you are angling for the title "most honorable fellow" for your action, but this business about "PinnedPiece" being Rafal Furdzik---or anybody else for that matter--places you beyond redemption, and dashes all hope that those smart pills you've been taking are ever going to have any effect.

PinnedPiece: <Ed> If you are trying to send me some secret message after making an absurd statement (saying Furdzik wrote the piece you linked to when clearly it was written by Jaan Ehlvest) because it is an interview with Fridrich Olafsson, then you had better spell things out in the palm of my hand. I'm not getting it.

.

Jun-29-09  Jim Bartle: Hold on. I thought Ehlvest had left the building.

I'm looking for good links to headline the "Uncovering the Truth" page. See the short kibitz history on my forum. Improvements solicited, and most welcome.
