  Stonehenge: Draw agreed.
Feb-29-08  MindCtrol9: <4 vs 3 >
Feb-29-08  Marmot PFL: < Mateo> Rad1 was probably better. The more pieces in play the better 95% of the time.
Feb-29-08  benjinathan: looks like a draw. white got the pawn back but all of his other advantages are gone.

  ketchuplover: another game please
Feb-29-08  chessic eric: <jfq> agreed, although sometimes work does feel exactly like <cornering mongeese>
Feb-29-08  Marmot PFL: Time for Carlsen maybe.
Feb-29-08  Eyal: I think Carlsen-Shirov looks the most interesting of the other games at the moment.
Feb-29-08  MindCtrol9: <i can't believe this draw agreement>
Feb-29-08  MindCtrol9: <White could win this game or I do not know how to play chess>
Feb-29-08  whiteshark: Opposite coloured ♗♗ with ♕♖♖. Could become juicy.
Feb-29-08  Ulhumbrus: I expected 27 Bxd5 to keep Black's c pawn back and also because the bishop does eomething on the a2-g8 diagonal, whereas it does little on the b1-h7 diagonal.
Feb-29-08  percyblakeney: Draw with black against the maybe biggest threat is a very good result for Anand in this tournament situation.
Feb-29-08  whiteshark: ...in some way or other. :D
Feb-29-08  Ulhumbrus: <chessgames.com> Are you going to switch to another game?
Feb-29-08  MindCtrol9: <I bet who asked for this draw was Anand>
Feb-29-08  duchamp64: Yes a draw with Black against his main rival should put Anand in good shape to win the event. Draw in a slightly better position I might add -- safer King.
Feb-29-08  Ulhumbrus: Both players played interesting and enterprising chess in this game
Feb-29-08  MindCtrol9: <27.Bxd5 ...>I was expecting,too.
Feb-29-08  beenthere240: How is white (or black) going to win this game? Rooks will disappear. bet the engines have this at or close to 0.0
Feb-29-08  MindCtrol9: <beenthere240>Engines play very bad finals.

Domdaniel: And it looked so promising for White around move 10-11. I tend to draw those positions but I believed Aronian was capable of winning.
Feb-29-08  you vs yourself: <MindCtrol9: I bet who asked for this draw was Anand> Aronian played the last move. So he was the one who offered the draw.
Feb-29-08  weisyschwarz: I nailed the opening, and should get partial credit about the result. Of course if I had visited ChessBookie before the game they would have played a QGD.
