Aug-02-17  Resignation Trap: Balashov begins a long combination involving a rook sacrifice with 15...Nxc5!? Is it sound?
Aug-03-17  Retireborn: I think it's pretty sound, yes. After 20...Bc5 Black has good compensation for the rook because the white pieces cannot work together to achieve anything. I think that was Michael Stean's observation originally.

24.f4 seems to be the losing move; White would still be in the game with 24.Bf3 or 24.a3 planning Ra2.
