  fredthebear: Wham! Bam! Black sacrifices a couple pawns, both bishops, and a rook in fine fashion. Of course, White obliges and gets clobbered. (FTB would have played 22...Rg4+ and 23...Qh3# in a heartbeat, not that it matters any.)

3...Qf6 4.d4 or 4.Nc4 is probably seen most nowadays, but just about anything will pop up in these gambit counterattacks. Neither color played the opening soundly, but it sure made for a smashing combination.
