piteira8: Magnus displayed remarkable sange froid in this sure-handed draw even though he played most of the game one pawn dawn. Wow.
Jun-01-08  Shajmaty: 20. Qa5 is a novelty, but not better than the already played (20. Rhd1 and 20. Re1). Once again in this match, Magnus escapes...

This game should -NOT- have been a draw.

<Chess Today CT-2763> showed that Leko (White) missed win after win in the rook ending. The most straightforward win was with 48 b5-b6!

(VAR) Position after 48 b5-b6!

instead of the 48 c2-c4? that Leko actually played.

And <CT-2763> gives other winning lines for White on later moves as well. 51 Rh7xh3+?? throws away the win for White.

Leko really blew this ending something awful.
