<Since I started playing I had been taught that ignoring development to grab pawns is greedy. But greediness needn't be bad. Against Mikhalevski's Catalan I kept the extra pawn with an early c6. Unable to remember the line, I realized that I had played an interesting novelty when he sank into a deep thought. In a complicated position he misjudged his second pawn sacrifice. Finally his time ran out, but so had his position.>
