In the final position as the game was played white wins after 45. ... Rxa4 46. Bxa4 Nxa4 47. Rd7+ picking up the bishop on b7. With the black king on h7 instead of on f7 it would look like this before the then impossible Rd7+:

  Ulhumbrus: Instead of 14...Qa7, 14...Qd8 prepares to place the Q on e7.

Instead of 19...Nf6, 19...Rc8 takes the c file at a moment when White can't play Nc5 so easily.
