  Once: <karik> Well spotted!

This is a real comedy of errors. With 53. Qf5+? white exchanges a mate in 1 (53. Bf7#) for a drawn position.

Then with 55. Qf2?, he swaps a draw for a loss. Instead, 55. Kg3 forces a draw. Black has to go into a perpetual to prevent mate - eg 55. ... d2? 6. Bf7#. So black has nothing better than Qe3+ and Qe2+ with a dra by perpetual check.

What you might call a bad day at the office.
