Nov-25-08   belgradegambit: Why not 19....Qxc6? After 20.Bd5 Qc8 21 BxR QxB Black looks fine to me. 19...e6 is also worth consideration.

Gilmoy: <19..Qxc6 20.Bd5 Qc8 21.Bxa8 Qxa8> 21.Rd7 (Nf6 22.Rxe7) and White has simple plans that pile on the pressure: e5, Qa6-a4-a5, Rbd1 and double on 7, etc. Black's pieces are awful (and White's e5 makes them worse), he can't defend his weak Q-side pawns, and he has no counterplay. Looks like White would stroll to a positional crush.

a real life chess murder mystery
