notyetagm: Avrukh just published a book for Quality Chess Books on a GM repertoire based on 1 d2-d4, 2 c2-c4, so we can see here that he practices what he preaches.

beenthere240: The whole opening looks horrible for black. 7. ...b5 sets up 8. d5 , the knight goes on the rim, waiting for the later queen check at a4 that sets up the passed c pawn that ruins black's game. To play a weird defense like that against a expert in Q pawn openings is folly (as if Avrukh is going to say -- 2...Nc6?? what's that??!!)
