luzhin: Bizarre opening play by Christiansen. His 7...Qe4+ was bad enough, but 8...Bh6?? was terrible, obviously missing the force of 9.Bd3! Instead, after 8...dxe3 9.Bxf7+ Kxf7 10.Ng5+ Kg7 11.Nxe4 Nxe4 12.Qd4+ Nf6 13.Qxe3 Nc6, Black would have three minor pieces for the Queen and could put up a fight.

White has the safer King after castling, and an extra pawn. Black has to watch the weak e7 pawn, but may be able to construct some sort of fortress in an attempt to hang on. He may be able to generate some threats with the Bishops since they have no opponents.
