Jan-31-09		whiteshark: In the Stellwagen - Wang match up, white got what looked to be a nice edge out of the Berlin wall. After move 12, white was intending to trade on e7 and go Nf4 with a promising position, but the Chinese came up with the very accurate <12...b6!>. click for larger view His idea was to answer <13.Bxe7> with <13...Ba6!>, and similarly to the game, trade his bishop for the agile Ne2. With the knight gone, black was now just equal, and with the arrival of the double rook endgame, the point was split. fm rd12 report
