Feb-20-09  Sularus: black lost on time?
Feb-20-09  midnightsun88: Well both players played solidly until black blundered.
Feb-20-09  KERESOV: GM Filippov should not removed the queen from the 6th rank on the 39th move as the resulting position after 40. f6 is very hard to meet 'cause it paralyzed Black's position and the weakness of f7 surely tells. Pinoy prodigy GM Wesley So played with zest and constantly searched for the elusive initiative ... such is the hallmark of the future world champion. More power to your games ahead !!!

Bishoprick: Although an interesting, fighting game, I don't understand what happened here. I don't see the win for White.
Feb-25-09  narenillo: <40. f6 is very hard to meet>

Black lost on time. Otherwise, 40. ... g6 and Black is still winning.

Feb-25-09  WhiteRook48: So Fine a pin

Jan-04-14  MarkFinan: Little Wesley must have had quite a shock when he sat down to play his opponent, looked at the name on the table, and thought (rightly so! ).... 'DoubleYou.. Eff.. Tea!!!' "What you calling me, huh?" LOL ☺☺☺

It's like an Irishman sitting down only to find his opponent has a nametag that reads.. "U. A. Paddy"

You could not make this up, haha. Please let me do the pun, ceegee? Lol 😆
