Hesam7: <Sergey Karjakin went straight to his room after his blindfold game against Magnus Carlsen had ended in a draw. His disappointment was understandable, as he had spoiled a completely winning position. Carlsen was predictably unhappy about his opening. He had missed White’s strong push e5 and was left with a ‘dreadful position’. To get some counterplay the Norwegian offered an exchange, but Karjakin wisely ignored this Greek gift. The Ukrainian made a crucial mistake a couple of moves later. His 21.Nd3 was an expensive slip as after 21.Rd1 Black’s prospects would have been truly bleak. Now all White had was an edge, but not one to cause Black serious worries.> official site commentary
