May-23-09  rjsolcruz: The loss by GM Antonio prevented him from taking the Subic title BUT the mean does not justify the end since the important thing, and is a pride for Philippine chess, is the trip to the WORLD CUP! And to think that GMs Torre and So did have shots for those ticket, too. These are encouraging scenario for RP chess and we hope that there are more international events here to give our masters more exposure and chances of proving themselves.

visayanbraindoctor: Congrats to GM Antonio for making it to the World Cup! And its no shame to lose this well-played game by GM Ganguly, one of India's best.
May-29-09  Vasilyev90: This ended Antonio's winning 4 game streak.
