An Englishman: Good Evening: Can chess really be this simple? In one of the oldest and most analyzed 1.d4 lines, Black finds a TN on move 12 (!) whose sole purpose seems to consist of allowing the Nf6 to leave its post. 13.Bb2 and 14.Nd2 might have been a better plan; after 13...Qe7 White allowed his Queen side pawns to be ruined. Then Black calmly swaps everything to go into one of those rare N vs. B endings with unbalanced pawn structures that are better for the Knight.

It can't be that simple; if it is, then the plan of 12...h6 and 13...Qe7 is one of the nicer TNs in recent NID history.
