  fredthebear: In the final position, Black's dark-squared bishop is pinned to the king; it cannot leave the a3-f8 diagonal. If Black erroneously deals with the pawn fork by 28...Qxe5 29.QxQ+ and Black's dark-squared bishop cannot recapture due to the pin. Thus, the pawn fork is going to win material one way or another for White.
Jun-29-18  The Kings Domain: Man, Nf3 in 1853. The hypermoderns weren't so modern after all. Good game too, the contrast in styles is appealingly apparent.
