  An Englishman: Good Evening: I couldn't resist the urge to investigate the Leonhardt Gambit of the Scandinavian Defense, thanks to today's Puzzle, and found this oddball little miniature.

  FSR: I always thought 4.b4 was the Kotrc-Mieses Gambit. CG.com thinks it's the Leonhardt Gambit and that 3.Ke2?? is the "Mieses-Kotroc Variation," - even though I would bet my life that neither of those players ever played 3.Ke2 against the Scandinavian. Lindemann vs Echtermeyer, 1893
