Kibitzer's Corner
Aug-10-09  WhiteRook48: this game is not a draw. White can force a queen here
Aug-11-09  DiscoJew: How? prove it !
Aug-11-09  WhiteRook48: I was thinking 52...Rc6 53 h5 Kf6 54 hxg6 Kxg6 55 Rd7 Kf6 56 Kd5 Rc1 57 Kd6 Rd1+ 58 Kc6 Rc1+ 59 Kb7 Rb1 60 Kc8 Ra1 61 Kd8 Rh1 62 c8=Q and then discovered 52...Kd6 refuted all of it
spoke too soon
Aug-14-09  DiscoJew: What>? slow down!!52...Rc6?? is a blunder...
Better and in my opinion still holding the draw is 52...Rc4 53. Ke3 Kd6 54. Rf7 Rc5 55. Kf4 Ke6 56. Rh7 Kd6 57. Rg7 Ke6 58. Ke4 Kd6 59. Rh7 Rxc7 60. Rxc7 Kxc7 If 53. Kd3 Rc5! 54.Kd4 Rc1 continues to hold the draw according to Crafty, though Crafty sees an eternal 2.0 for white.
