Sep-20-09   Don Cossacks: So quiet here.Daring king march by GM Hammer!
Sep-20-09   LaFreak III: Maybe Chairman must try the king's indian against d4

  al wazir: 36...Qb3 would have given black better chances. If 37. Kf4, then 37...Rf2+ 38. Ke5 (38. Kg5 Qxe3+ wins) Qxe3+ 39. Kd5 (39. Re4 Qxg3+ 40. Kd5 Qb3+) Qb3+ 40. Kc6 Rc2+.
Sep-21-09   Atking: <al wazir> in your line 36...Qb3 why not Qe5 There is many threats like Kf6 or Rd7-Rf7 or Rd8-Rh8 Bd5xf7-xg6. Did I miss something?

I could miss something else have a wrong impression but I think that Hammer plays it very very well. Winning a strong B vs N in the opening and the Long March of the King in the Black camp

Sep-21-09   Atking: I meaned 37.Qe5 Seeing the game again maybe a try 8...Be6!?. 8...e6 was for a quick development of Bf8 (12...Bb4) but the impact of that move wasn't.
Sep-21-09   mrandersson: A good pun here would be Stop hammer time.
Sep-21-09   anjyplayer: King march was forced,
But this game will be surely marked in history for its king march in 21st century.
Sep-21-09   Mate Hunter: "So hammered"

25 ... h7-h5??

The blunder 25 ... h7-h5?? does *nothing* about the threat of White <COORDINATING HIS PIECES ON THE LOOSE SQUARE NEXT TO THE ENEMY KING>, the f6-square next to the Black g7-king, with Rd1-d6.

26 Rd1-d6! <coordination: f6>
