Eyal: Well, this game follows the line that has just been employed very successfully by White in Carlsen vs Leko, 2009, but instead of playing 13...0-0 like Leko did and letting White push his pawn to d5, causing a lot of trouble for Black, the forced sequence from 13...Bh3 to 15...d5 (an immediate 13...d5? would be bad because of 14.Bd3) seems to pretty much equalize for Black, giving back the pawn but diffusing White's initiative. A great novelty? No, Kramnik already showed how it's done back in 2001... (Morozevich vs Kramnik, 2001). So I wonder if the Carlsen-Kasparov team had anything special prepared for that; Nakamura obviously didn't.
