rannewman: This is very conclusive of you. How would you answer 10...Qf6 for example?

Shams: <rannewman> I think <GrahamClayton> is not claiming a forced win here, just showing one example of how Black got in trouble OTB in this line. Your move looks like an improvement over Weil's, but then, Delft's <10.Re1> in the main game looks good too.

Gilmoy: <rannewman: 10..Qf6> 11.Bf4 and White is threatening Rfe1, Ne4-Nd6+ or Nb5, Rad1, plus Black just self-blocked his KN's best square (and White will decline the Q trade for exactly that reason). Even after 11..Bg7, White's 3-1 tempi in minor piece development and open center lines is surely worth a pawn.

Shams: <Gilmoy> How does White decline the Queen trade after 10.Qf3 Qf6 11.Bf4 g5<?>

rannewman: 11...g5 actually falls into 12.B:g5, however I can't see what you can play after 11...Bh6.
