Kibitzer's Corner
Jan-23-11  nockuout1: ummm, doesn't anyone resign anymore, after Qf6 ???
Oct-25-12  TheTamale: Doesn't 12) ...e4 win a piece? Or am I missing something?

I think the ratings here are misrepresented; Robson was just a kid then and likely wasn't rated 2527.

Oct-26-12  shivasuri4: <TheTamale>, no, 12...e5 doesn't win a piece, as white would play 13.Nf5. Play could follow 13...g6 14.Ng7+ Kf8 15.Qh6 Kg8 16.Nd5, with future ideas of f5 and f6.

Yes, Robson was rated 2021 in the January 2005 list. http://ratings.fide.com/id.phtml?ev...

Oct-26-12  TheTamale: <shivasuri4>: Ah yes, thanks. Good eye.
Sep-05-13  The Last Straw: Castling looks a bit risky here... right into an attack!
Sep-05-13  Mudphudder: But even so, how does a player rated 2021 allow such an obvious mate like this???
