  achieve: Took me a few seconds, but spotted Bd4+ during the Live transmission, but didn't get to ...f5 mate as Carlsen, in the time-scramble, had already taken off the Queen; Point being - he didn't have "a few seconds" when he was about to make the move, and obviously missed it for some reason.

Just to put it in perspective: there were "several" mates in two and three missed in this tournament. I do not have an exact number, but my guess is more than you'd (not;)) expect.
