Kibitzer's Corner
Jan-07-10  parisattack: One of the many 'Semi' or 'Half' Hippos - here Black plays ...Nf6 instead of ...Ne7. Petrosian played a few Half-Hippos with no Q-side fianchetto and got nice play...but then again that was Petrosian!

Enormous amount of uncharted territory in the Robatsch in general and the Hippo variation specifically.

Jan-09-10  HeadCrunch: Looks like Andrew Martin had a good tournament at Hastings 2009/2010 - I think this was his only loss. "uncharted territory" what do you mean? Didn't Bobby Fischer once say chess has been "played out" :-)
Jan-05-12  Shams: On 17.Qxe5 what is Black's best line?

Jan-05-12  Shams: <Sastre> Thanks, that looks very promising.
